TPS is calculated as the maximum number of transactions processed in any one-second period or single block divided by block time, whichever methodology is standard for the specified blockchain. Measurements use the primary block explorer designated at issuance. Only mainnet transactions count; testnet activity is excluded. Layer 2s and rollups are considered separate blockchains from their Layer 1.
