
For the purposes of this Contract, a bill will be considered a border bill and included in the Underlying if it: Increases funding for a border wall on the United States’ southern border with Mexico; Increases immigration services fees (e.g. parole fees immigrants pay to temporarily stay in the United States while their requests for citizenship, residency or asylum are being decided); Taxes remittances; Increases funding for Border Patrol agents and ICE officers; Increases funding for Border Patrol and ICE vehicles or technology; Takes action to restrict undocumented immigrants from using government services; or Otherwise increases funding for immigration law enforcement, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, or U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
