
"Aired" means broadcast or transmission through the broadcaster's owned-and-operated stations, networks, or platforms. Must be a complete episode, not promotional clips. May be live, delayed, or pre-recorded. Can be new, rerun, special, or compilation unless episode type specifies otherwise. Must be intentional and scheduled (accidental broadcasts under 5 minutes don't count). For streaming platforms, "aired" means made fully available. Must occur on primary distribution channels in at least one U.S. market. Affiliates not owned by the broadcaster don't count unless specifically included. Web-exclusive content only counts if the broadcaster primarily operates as a streaming service.
