Extradition requires the formal surrender of the person by a foreign jurisdiction pursuant to bilateral/multilateral treaties, formal extradition requests approved by competent authorities, MLATs, or other recognized international legal mechanisms. The physical custody transfer must be completed with documented arrival in the requesting country's territory. Provisional arrests, deportations, voluntary surrenders, prisoner exchanges, renditions without due process, temporary transfers for testimony, transfers to third countries, and failed attempts do not qualify. The person must be confirmed through official identification or biometric verification. If the person dies before extradition completion, the market resolves to last fair price.
