"One Free Throw" Rule: If a player is fouled while shooting a three-pointer and misses, they will shoot just one free throw; if it goes in, it is worth 3 points. Similarly, a standard two-point foul becomes a single free throw worth 2 points, and an "and-one" situation becomes a single 1-point free throw. This rule does not apply to the final two minutes of the fourth quarter or any overtime periods.
