Resolves Yes if the spot price of WTI oil hits below $85 on any day between August 16, 2022 and August 22, 2022 as reported by the EIA's Spot Prices data series.Outcome verified from Energy Information Administration.
The market will expire at the sooner of the first 10:00 AM ET following the Underlying reporting the threshold being crossed, the first 10:00 AM ET following the release of the data for August 22, 2022, and September 07, 2022. The market will close at 4:59 PM ET on August 24, 2022.
