The outcome is Yes

If, for any sequence of 3 or more consecutive calendar months from January 2026 through December 2026, the U.S. Producer Price Index for Final Demand 12-month percent change is greater than the U.S. Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U), U.S. city average, all items, 12-month percent change in each month of that sequence, then the market resolves to Yes. Outcome verified from Bureau of Labor Statistics (CPI) and Bureau of Labor Statistics (PPI).

For each calendar month in 2026, the comparison will use the headline year-over-year values published by BLS for (i) CPI-U, U.S. city average, all items, 12-month percent change, not seasonally adjusted, and (ii) PPI for Final Demand, 12-month percent change, not seasonally adjusted. A qualifying streak must consist entirely of calendar months in 2026.
