The first debate between the presidential nominees happened on June 27, 2024. The second debate between the presidential nominees happened on September 10, 2024. Clarification 7/11/24 6:45 AM ET: To be clear, a debate will count for this market if it has the presumptive or official Democratic or Republican nominees for President. The nominee need not be a specific person (e.g. Joe Biden) as the nominee could change. As long as the debaters are the presumptive/actual nominees, and reported by the Source Agency (The New York Times), then the debate will be counted for the purpose of the market.
