
Musk's companies include any business entity where Elon Musk: (i) holds at least 10% equity ownership, (ii) serves as CEO, Executive Chairman, or equivalent executive role, (iii) has board control through ownership or voting agreements, or (iv) is identified in official SEC filings as a controlling person. This includes but is not limited to: Tesla Inc., Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX), X Corp. (formerly Twitter), xAI Corp., Neuralink Corp., and The Boring Company, as well as any subsidiaries or affiliates of these entities. Changes made through legislation already made law (e.g. changes to electric vehicle tax credits made law by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act) are not encompassed by the Payout Criterion.
