If Dan Bongino leaves, or it is announced they will leave, their office (Deputy Director of the FBI) before Jan 1, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes. Sources from the White House, The New York Times, the Associated Press, Reuters, Axios, Politico, Semafor, The Information, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, ABC, CBS, CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC.
The person must leave (or announce they will leave) their office to resolve the market to Yes. For example, if they accept another role and leave their current role, the market resolves to Yes. If they accept another role without leaving their current role, then the market does not resolve to Yes. If, for example, Marco Rubio stated in 2025 that “I will be leaving as Secretary of State starting April 2026,” the market will resolve to Yes, even though the end date is January 1, 2026.
