OpenAI's board of directors have been in the hot seat since the sudden ousting of board members Sam Altman (co-founder and CEO) and Greg Brockman. Even the supposed instigator of the coup d'etat, board member Ilya Sustkever, has signed onto a letter signed by nearly all of OpenAI's employees demanding that the board resign. The current board members of OpenAI are Bret Taylor, Larry Summers, and Adam D'Angelo. Bret Taylor is the board chair and is a former co-CEO of Salesforce, Larry Summers is an economist and served as Treasury secretary during the Clinton administration and Adam D'Angelo is the CEO of Quora, a question-and-answer platform.
