Resolves Yes if local control of DC police is restored before Oct 1, 2025.Outcome verified from the White House, the United States Congress, The New York Times, the Associated Press, Bloomberg News, Reuters, Axios, Politico, Semafor, The Information, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, ABC, CBS, CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC.
For the purposes of this market, partial or temporary transfers of control and joint command agreements will not count. Statements expressing support for local control not accompanied by official action will not count. Court- or Congress-mandated returns of power without presidential action will also not count.
