Every figure here is a live Kalshi market price. A contract on the 2026-27 NBA Most Valuable Player pays out at 100¢ if that contender wins the award and nothing if they do not, so its price in cents reads directly as the market's implied chance in percent.
The award is open to any player in the league, and the board does not normalise anything: each of the 53 contracts is priced independently, and the figures are not all the same kind of observation — a tight book shows its midpoint, a wide one the last trade. So the column can sum a little either side of 100%. The gap is what independent pricing leaves behind, not a fee and not the cost of buying the field.
53 contenders carry a price and the board shows the top 20. The 33 left off are longshots trading near a cent; every one of them is on the market page linked above.
