About
The federal funds rate is a key interest rate set by the Federal Reserve, influencing borrowing and lending rates across the economy. The Fed uses it to control inflation and support economic growth. Generally, the Fed raises the interest rate to slow down the economy and cuts the interest rate to stimulate growth.
