For the purposes of this Contract, "the Bill Pulte formally holds the Acting Director of National Intelligence" means that the Bill Pulte has assumed the Acting Director of National Intelligence in an official capacity—whether by appointment, election, succession, confirmation, designation, or an acting/interim assignment—and has performed or is recognized to perform the duties or responsibilities of that role, unless otherwise specified by the Exchange.
